Today started with a 5:30 am workout which you would understand how badly I needed it if you saw my post from earlier today. I worked my legs hard with some weight training today so I expect them to feel like jelly tomorrow.
When I came home I made myself a banana protein smoothie yet found myself hungry again by 9:30.
To kick the hunger, I had a hummus, feta and baby spinach on a whole grain sandwich thin with a few strawberries. Then I made and photographed two recipes (can you say blueberry-zucchini and sticky chicken?).
The rest of my morning was full of posting, work for Ziploc, negotiating a speaking gig, some cleaning, teak staining (explanation coming soon) and then picking up the kiddos from school.
Did I tell you it is 85 degrees here today?
After snack time and settling the kids down with activities, I went to another doctor’s appointment for my throat and then made some pork chops, mashed sweet potatoes and a salad for dinner. So fast and easy!
Tonight I am heading out to meet Karen to shop for our Purse to Plate post this week. You are excited right?
