Guess what I will be doing on our Anniversary (as well as my hubby’s Birthday) weekend? I will be attending and watching my husband smile from ear to ear at the Mohegan Sun Casino Brewfest. I will also be smiling like crazy when I stop by the Willimantic Brewing Company booth to visit my employers from many years ago.
Mohegan Sun is hosting its’ first-ever Sun BrewFest – two days dedicated to the art of the Brew! The event, October 6th – 7th, will feature over 100 beers for sampling, including craft & micro brews, imports, domestics, limited editions and malt liquors.
Demonstrations and mini-seminars will be held at each session and brew masters will be on hand to discuss the brewing process and answer questions about their brews.
The event will be broken down into three sessions: Saturday, October 6th 12:00pm to 4:00pm & 6:00pm to 10:00pm and Sunday, October 7th 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Every guest will receive a souvenir glass that will serve as their tasting glass for their session.
Food sales will also be available in the Uncas Ballroom, with fresh selections from Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe, Jasper White’s Summer Shack, the newly designed Bow & Arrow Sports Bar as well as other local and regional restaurants. The vendors Cork and Brew out of Southington, Connecticut and Coffee Breaks will be on hand in the ballroom as well.
Would you like to attend as well? Beer-tastic! because I am giving away two sets of ticket (so two winners win two tickets)**!!
