Have you heard the news?
The news about the new spice on the block?
Let me fill you in on the latest spice I spied at the store last week: Shichimi Togarashi aka Japanese Seven Spice.
It is a spicy-sweet combo type of spice that is sure to please everyone.
The blend includes red chili pepper, Sichuan pepper, ginger, white and black sesame seeds, orange peel and, even some nori flakes.
The blend reminded me of an everything bagel, hence, the name everything in the title.
1 head of cauliflower
1-Tablespoons of olive oil
A few pinches of salt
1 Japanese Seven Spice (Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning)
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Chop the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces, and place into a large bowl.
3. Drizzle the oil onto the cauliflower, and toss well.
4. Shake the seasoning, and salt all over the cauliflower, toss well and bake for 20-25 minutes.
