Reflecting on the last beach day of the Summer

September 1st was a perfect weather day here and we enjoyed most of it at the beach with friends. I thought for sure we would have more days like this in September and planned on taking the kids right after school.

We have gone twice this month but even though the temperature was 70 and 75, it felt chilly and ‘different’ at the beach.

I am already yearning for the days when you can feel the beach/coast wrapping you in warmth., I have felt rejected by it lately. I actually feel like I was tricked this year.I know September is back to school and the end of summer but we usually have a bit of an ‘Indian summer’ but not this time.
