Edible Arrangements & A Vision Board

Friends, it is time for me to get organized and so I am starting to map out what is going on the wall space behind my desk. I need to create both a vision board and a wall planner to help keep my various committments in order (This Blog, The Family Kitchen & OpenSky). I was alone in the house for an hour yesterday (thanks hubby!) and so I went to work on filling the ridiculously large wall planner and designing the board I will have my husband build.

I think I will then have him put some cork board on it, cover it with some lovely vintage-meets-modern fabric and then fill it with my ideas and inspirations. Naturally, I will need some cute thumb tacks as well.

While, I was starting to fill in the wall planner yesterday there was a loud knock at the door which made me jump. Then I debated whether to answer as I was far from presentable but I peeked out the window to find a cute elderly man holding a basket of fruit. But not just any first but my first edible arrangement!  Thank You SOYJOY!

Now, any suggestions for fabric, thumb tacks, vision board inspiration?

I LOVE your idea! I need one desperately as well. This last weekend I was at a local art fair and saw a cute bulletin board made out of sliced wine corks. Where one would find all the corks, I have no idea – but I thought it was creative! Enjoy the fruit basket, it looks amazing!

Oh those things are so darn yummy!!! We had one delivered to the preschool I worked at for Christmas one year. I think we picked it clean (of everything but the honeydew) within 10 minutes. The pineapple is always so sweet and juicy. Yummy!!
