Fall Food Fest – Food Blogger Potluck

Attention all Food Bloggers: The Poor Girl Gourmet and I are hosting a Fall Food Festival Potluck  in Amy’s really very clean barn (we swear) on Saturday October 23, 2010 at 12:30.

We food bloggers all love to get together over food, to then talk about and, of course, photograph food. Not to worry, we don’t mind eating cold food* while we wait for you to get the perfect shot! Oh, but then, you already knew that.

Bring your favorite fall dish along, and share with your blogger, Twitter, FB, and IRL friends. In addition to the great company of your fellow New England-area food bloggers, there will be goodies and raffle items (not that you needed more incentive to get together with your fellow food obsessives, of course!).

The ticket price (only $5) covers incidentals like utensils, and plates, and napkins – all that good stuff (blah, blah, blah…zzzzzzz). Please let us know if you have any questions. We’re looking forward to seeing you on October 23rd!

In addition, there is an optional Farmers Market Tour: 10AM – 11AM at Lippitt Park in Providence. Led by Farm Fresh Rhode Island’s Hannah, the tour will meet at the Farm Fresh RI information table. Hannah will tell us about the market, agriculture in Rhode Island, and will fill us in on all the good things that Farm Fresh RI is doing in Lil Rhody.

The tour is free, starts at 10am, and is limited to 20 (register at same eventbrite link) . Click here if you’d like more information on the market.

Register today and get ready to be social, fill your bellies, meet the bloggers you have been communicating with for years & aghhhh at the gift bag.

Jen – I am so happy that you are busy because your brand and business is growing…now, pass some of those gorgeous cookies you make!

New England in the Fall. Sounds perfect and wish I could attend. This is more to my kind of gathering. The opportunity to actually meet *with* people and interact without all the hype, commercialism and competitiveness that seems to be growing out of control at the bigger conventions.

Little *gatherings* such as this is so much more appealing to me and I wish you all the best with it. Looking forward to reading about it.

So my kind of event; I know myself well enough that sitting and listening to speakers is not my thing…I just want to meet other bloggers. Period. Sounds fun!

I’m so sad that I won’t be able to make it… I would LOVE to be there. Sounds like a fun event, and a refreshing change from all of the giant conferences lately. Can’t wait to hear all about it.

This sounds like a great day Jennifer! Is it ok to register a non-food blogging friend who shares a love for food? 🙂 Thanks!

I wish we were closer to each other – I just know we would hang, drink coffee, wine and have a great time cooking and blogging together
