Pity Party, Acorns, Granola & Selling a House

This morning started off with laundry followed by the Ustream of Working with Brands as part of the Blogher Food Pity party.  The rest of the day has involved us working on cleaning and doing a video to sell this house.

My daughter has spent hours outside raking acorns with daddy and that is one tough job but she has been such a sport. While they are outside working, I am inside planning for Pumpkin Week on The family Kitchen and making this house shine from head to toe. Slacking off a few weeks has resulted in a lot of work.

While I was taking a break and watching the hard workers outside, I had a little snack. Now, off to roast a pumpkin.

Have you ever roasted a pumpkin?

..and she really did work very hard. She said her leg muscle were aching from bending down to pick up acorns. I felt compelled to give her a reward for her hard work.
