Protein Power & Pumpkin Recipe Week

Late Wednesday afternoon, I found that I had so much work to complete so I asked the hubby if he minded if I headed off to Starbuck’s.  Once I got there, I realized that I was quite hungry so I grabbed their Protein Pack: It contains a hard-boiled cage free egg, grapes, apple slices, cheddar cheese and a piece of delicious muesli bread and honey-peanut butter on the side.

About an hour after eating it, I still wanted more in my belly so I ordered the strawberry-banana smoothie. During my time at Starbuck’s, I was wrapping up a guest post on Eating Rules, Mom It Forward (Oct 29th) and posts for Babble.

Here is the wrap-up of Pumpkin Week posts on The Family Kitchen (yes,I know some are not pumpkin related)
Monday: Roasted Pumpkin
Tuesday: Pumpkin Seed Trail Mix
Wednesday: Quiche in a Pan video with Chef Jeffrey Saad
Thursday: Roasted Butternut Squash Cubes
Friday: Roasted Pumpkin Seeds Pesto(posts late tonight) & a bit about Safely Indulging in your Pregnancy Related Food Cravings

What are some of your favorite pumpkin recipes?

Other then traditional pie and sweets. I love pumpkin flavor soups. Actually the flavor of pumpkin makes everything better it us sweet enough to make savory dishes just right.
