Creamy Mango Guacamole: Touchdown!

Now lookie here, I care about you and your well being, I really do. Therefore, I am going to give you a rockin Guacamole recipe for Super Bowl Sunday.

No really. Can you imagine what would happen when your friends came over and found there was no guacamole bring served?

You would get tackled. I am sure of it.

So, whip out that potato masher and get ready for this Skinner Creamy Mango Guacamole.

See, this version is a bit better for you than the standard recipe because you are using fewer avocados thanks to the mango and heck, you are eating Mango = Score!

Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado, chopped
1/2 mango, chopped
1/2 cup red onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon fresh or bottled lime juice
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
salt & pepper

Directions:
1. Prepare the Avocado (you have to watch these two videos on my clever way to pit an avocado and then chop it up) and then, in a medium to large sized bowl, mash it with either a fork or potato masher.

2. Add the mango, red onion, garlic, lime juice and cilantro. Mix well and then add more lime juice if you want a thinner texture. Season with salt & pepper to taste. To add more heat, add minced jalapeno or hot sauce.

Serve with baked chips or pretzel crisps.
