Veggie Tales Teach You to Not Be Selfish

We love the Veggie Tales! They are a wonderful cartoon and in each episode they teach lessons such as not being selfish, forgiveness, courage, friendship and faith without any foul language – and to me, I mean ‘dumb and stupid’ which are surprisingly present in yound childrens shows.

Oh and they are so cute and they make me laugh. They make all of us laugh and I do not need to worry that if I walk out of the room they may hear a rude word or see something inappropriate. The latest DVD in the VeggieTales series is called ‘Happy Together’ and when I was asked to review it, I knew it would be loved and bring joy to all of us, so I said ‘Yes Ma’am’.

The latest DVD has over 80 minutes of fun and stories including: “Sheerluck Holmes & the Golden Ruler’, ‘The Grapes of Wrath’ and ‘Esther: The Girl Who Became Queen’. Plus, there are 3 catchy songs with funny videos.

Here is what my son thinks of the Veggie Tales:

*Disclosure: I was sent the DVD to review. All opinions are my own so if it was a stinker of a DVD, I would tell you.

My son used to love VeggieTales when he was younger. I really liked the practical life lessons that the stories taught.

Hi Crystal – yes, values. Those are hard to come by in most things targeted to children
