Tooty Ta: A Talent Show Song & Dance

The past few days have had many of us, including myself, feeling sad but luckily, I had a chance to laugh and celebrate yesterday. I wanted to share a little something that I think may put a smile on your face.

My daughter was in a talent show yesterday and along with many other young ones, she performed the song and dance ‘Tooty Ta’. I had never heard of it until two weeks ago and since then I have spent many afternoons practicing with my daughter and giggling like a girl waiting to see Justin Bieber. Sans the screaming and low waist jeans.

I mean, I have jeans on, they just um, well the top is sort of near my belly button. No, they are not mom jeans. Oh, never mind.

My first graders teacher lets them do this on Fridays if they are good. A tooty tah a tooty tah a tootie tah tah… now I have it in my head. Love it!

So darn cute! My 6-year old was standing near me when the video started and he yelled, “Hey, that’s Tooty-Ta!” and did all the actions along with the video.

Oh WOW!! =) This is so funny. I can’t even listen to the audio right now because I’m at the office, but the way the kids are moving is just hilarious. Especially the little boy in the red shirt–he’s going for it 100%. No little boy should be able to move his hips like that. =) I love it!!

More than a smile…I laugh and I m not even a laughter and some people try to get me into jokes but I prefer to laugh at something that makes my heart swirll.

Thank you for all those colorfull smiles!
