Hood New England Dairy Cook Off Cooking Contest & Portland Regency Hotel Giveaway

Any chance you want some fun, fame and $10,000 bucks? How about a bevy of paparazzi chasing you around Maine after you win the Hood New England Dairy Cook Off? Great! We need some more Rhode Islanders representin’ so read about how to enter your ridonkulously good recipes!

The 3rd Annual Cook-Off will invite contestants to submit their very best recipe using Hood’s line of dairy products. There are five categories in which you may submit a recipe to compete in the Cook-Off. And you may enter one recipe in each category.

  • Breakfast/Brunch
  • Lunch/Dinner (Entrée)
  • Soups/Chowders
  • Appetizers/Side Dishes
  • Dessert

Hurry though as you need to enter by September 12th. More details below*

Also, whether you enter a recipe or not, you can enter to win 2 Tickets to the Hood New England Dairy Cook Off on November 6th and an Overnight Stay in Portland, Maine on November 5th!**

    My favorite Hood products are the cottage cheese and sour cream. They’re perfect in my recipe for kugel.

    I’d definitely have to say butter. It just makes everything better! 🙂 Plus, you literally could add to any dish, and it just gives it that extra layer of delicacy.

    My fav dairy product is cottage cheese because I can make the best low cal lasagna with it and no one knows the ricotta is missing!

    my favorite dairy product has to be butter. not because i looooove the taste by itself but rather that without it i’d be lost. i bake bake bake so butter is an essential staple. but yogurt and cream and close seconds 😉
