Before we headed to Story Land, we stopped at the Hartmann Model Railroad Museum in New Hampshire.
We knew we would be there for hours and we were for sure because this is our son’s idea of a dream day.
Our daughter and I went back and forth to the car and spent some time resting my whip-lashed self and played some hangman. However, our son, after 2 hours of looking at model trains, decided it was time for the train ride.
In order to ride the train, you need to buy something from the souvenir shop.
The table of items you get to choose from (a small table inside an impressive hobby shop) is full of um, let’s say ‘high mark up’ items however…
We did find a great selection of 2013 train calendars to chose from.
The highlight of the visit, besides watching the train ride, was seeing The Partridge Family Bus!! Don’t call me old. Meanie
