Healthy Pumpkin Pie Banana Smoothie Recipe

This morning I was making pumpkin white chocolate chip cupcakes for a fall festival tomorrow and found myself in ‘pumpkin’ mood.

Then I noticed that I had leftover pumpkin puree in the can and happened to be hungry so I grabbed the blender and started smiling.

Pumpkin Banana Autumn Smoothie (Yield = 1)
Ingredients:
1 cup of almond milk (or your preferred milk)
1 small banana
2-3 ice cubes
1-2 heaping tablespoons of pumpkin puree
1-2 heaping tablespoons of vanilla Greek yogurt
a dash of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon, optional

Directions:
Place all items in a blender and blend until frothy.

Don’t be intimidated by the smoothies’ #1 fan!

So yummy! Love the addition of the banana. Made a pumpkin smoothie (minus banana with honey, greek yogurt, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice) last year for some events and it was such a hit – most thought it tasted better than a pumpkin milkshake. Great to meet you at the Hood Cook Off. Looking forward to sharing new ideas. -Jenny

Really loving the combination of flavors you came up with and the photos are so tempting. Can I drink it from the screen? Totally pinned you.

Looks and sounds delicious! 1-2 Tbsp is key… I’ve been adding pumpkin to more things lately, but keep adding too much and being completely turned off by it. I’m realizing a little goes a long way!
