Before I tell you about why I am holding a Yosemite Sam glass, I will start off with Friday afternoon. I headed over to my friend Heather’s house to spend time with her before attending the annual Soup Swap.

We ‘celebrated’ our joked about 1-year Anniversary, as we first met at last year’s soup swap. During this visit, I spied this chocolate wine which she swore is ‘dang tasty!. Have you tried it?

On Saturday, our daughter attended a birthday party at a Michael’s craft store before we headed to Massachusetts. We headed to Massachusetts so we could scour the New England Demolition & Salvage Company. Why you ask? Well, because my hubby began finishing the basement.

Seeing that we wanted to do it on a shoestring budget and doors are dang expensive, we looked for less expensive doors yet ones full of personality. Although we were looking to buy about 6-7 doors, we only left with two. We will be going back again though. Do you like the Yosemite Sam glasses I found?

Sunday included Jambalaya, cleaning and another birthday party (but for the boys this time). Monday started early with a 8 am physical therapy appointment followed by a quiet day around the house and hanging in the basement watching my hubby work his magic.
