A Day In The Life: San Jose Eats

Wednesday night was a casual dinner with some representatives of the host company along with two other East Coast bloggers. The East Coasters were jet-lagged but able to order and ingest most everything on the menu.

For my meal, I ordered fava beans and calamari. When dining out, I always try to order items that I don’t make at home, have never made or I have rarely or never eaten.

There was also a cheese plate, a balsamic Salmon as well as, brussel spouts & pancetta.

We also ate roasted beets but passed on dessert and could barely get ourselves up from the table. To be honest, the 21-hour day left me beat.

However, I woke up by 5:00 a.m. and did some work before hitting the gym…..

For breakfast, I had oatmeal with granola, strawberries and brown sugar served along side of some eggs and salsa. Naturally, here was an iced latte invovled.

We then spent the day in meeting with an amazing group of people and a fabulous company. After a few minutes to freshen up, we headed to the San Pedro Square Bistro & Wine Bar.

I was naughty and ordered the crab cake and a side of garlic fries with a trio of aioli. I did share the fries so wasn’t too naughty but to be honest, if they were covered with more garlic chunks, I probably would have bite someone who tried to take one.

Yup, that was going to be the item that put me over the super naughty edge however, after waiting three hours to indulge, I took a bite and was disappointed. Boo.
