Do you remember when I made this cornbread?

I bet you think we just ate it all and moved on but you would be wrong, because I then took the cornbread and then made croutons.

Although, I prefer you use my cornbread with parmesan recipe, you can do this with any cornbread and have fun with the kids using different cookie cutter shapes.

Savory Cornbread Croutons with Parmesan & Herbs (Yield = varies)
Ingredients:
Prepared Cornbread
Olive Oil
Salt

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Using a small cookie cutter of any shape, cut the cornbread into as many pieces as you can and place them into a large bowl.

3. Drizzle a bit of olive oil onto the cornbread pieces, toss and if the pieces are lightly covered with the oil, simply sprinkle with salt. If the cornbread is not evenly coasted, drizzle a bit more olive oil and toss again. Bake for 20 minutes.
