A Day In The Life: Soup, Chairs & Migraine Haze

Morning. I am not ready to say ‘Good’ yet because I am coming out of a migraine haze.

Yesterday, I volunteered at my children’s school library and then headed out to take care of some errands. By 11:00, I was hungry and the banana I brought along was not going to suffice so I headed into the Mystic Soup Company. I was immediately drawn to the specials board and what sounded like a great soup but I grabbed a sandwich instead however, keep your eyes open for me to try to make a corn & quinoa soup.

I had a slight headache at this point but moved onto the next errand and then onto visiting the ‘Mine’ shop. ‘Mine’ is sort of an ‘American Pickers’ type of store. I went hunting for a vanity to overhaul and inspiration for a headboard but ended up grabbing some counter stools for our kitchen island. My husband said ‘We are not re-doing these, they are fine’. Sure babe……Keep your eyes peeled as we will be repainting them.

My headache was intensifying and I thought maybe it was due to lack of caffeine so I grabbed a latte at Starbucks and headed home for a bit before getting the children from school. By the time I picked the kids up from school, my belly was doing flip-flops but calmed down after a bit.

My belly began to feel ill again close to dinner time and things went downhill from then as suddenly there was a ‘ZAP’ in my head and the migraine was in full force. I am now in the morning after migraine haze and grateful that I have not had one in many years.
