She Blinded Me with Science: Back to Research in 2014

I have been keeping a little secret. Not a bun in the oven type of secret, but a what I did for months last year secret: I have been trying to get a job in the clinical research world.

Ever since I was in 6th grade, I knew I wanted to be a Scientist and so I schooled, trained, worked hard and acquired a Masters’ of Immunology. I then went on to work on the labs at Pfizer Pharmaceutics and then moved onto clinical studies.

Once my daughter was born, I decided to be a stay at home Mom, a few years later I began a business with this blog and then back in 2011, I felt the strong desire to get back to research. I was in the midst of trying to find a job when I was rear-ended by someone and then my neck issues halted the job search.

However, I began again later in 2013 as I wanted to get back to research and so I set a goal to get a job by the end of 2013, but it was not in the cards. I decided to share my goal/dream now so that maybe by putting my determination out in the universe, it will come true in 2014.

Now, back to the hunt!
