Whether you work from home, commute or have a day full of errands, you need to make this Bistro Box.

I was inspired while in line waiting to grab a Starbuck’s refresher and letting my middle aged eyes peruse their food selections.

I came home and made my own little version and plan on keeping a few of these ‘kits’ ready in the fridge. You should too.

Homemade Protein ‘On-The-Go Bistro Box’ (Per person)
Ingredients:
Organic apple slices (spritz with some lemon juice to keep from browning)
Organic grapes
Organic cheese, a few slices or a stick of your favorite
Hard-boiled organic egg
Peanut butter or almond butter
A packet of salt & pepper
A piece of whole grain bread or crackers, optional

Directions:
Place in a box with a napkin and go!

Who remembers if they salt of pepper shaker has two or three holes?

Ovo vegetarians also eat eggs, but do not include dairy in their diet. In contrast, lacto vegetarians eat dairy products, but not eggs
