A Day In The Life: Expanding the Raised Bed Garden Continued…..

Last week was spring break and we were busy with the kids, so sorry if I left you hanging in suspense over the garden.  We finished building the bed and added more dirt…..

One board was not straight so my husband resolved the issue.

Then we topped things off with, well, top soil….

As the little seedlings begin to grow, we decided to buy some established vegetables and herbs and will add our seedlings when they are ready.

We planted a variety of tomatoes, peppers, parsley and cilantro. Last year’s oregano made it through the winter and is producing many leaves already.
