Nearing the End & Spring Beauty Tips {Invisalign}

Not only are we having a full week of spring like weather in Rhode Island (mid-60’s) but I had my orthodontist appointment and received my last four Invisalign trays. This equals 8 weeks of treatment and to hold those last four sets of trays felt great (I am a member of the Invisalign Mom Advisory Board. I will be receiving complimentary treatment from Invisalign).

At my appointment yesterday, we also made a bit more room between a few of my top teeth so we can straighten them a bit more, a process done using the tools below. It only takes a few minutes and although the noise sounds a bit like nails on a chalkboard, I was so excited that I did not care. Plus, it only takes a minute.

Keep in mind that we will determine at the next appointment whether I need some more trays for refinements (meaning a bit more tweaking of the teeth) or we will make impressions for retainers, but I was excited anyway because no matter the next course of action, the attachments on my teeth will be coming off.

Speaking of excited, spring has sprung so let’s celebrate with a few spring beauty tips:

Spring Beauty Tips:
*New lipstick to enhance your gorgeous smile.

*A pedicure (you men need this too. Seriously, gets those feet professionally cleaned up once in a while).

*A new pair of sandals to show off your pedicure.

*Plant some flowers.

*Always remember to put on your moisturizer with sunscreen.

*A cute raincoat and rain boots (remember that April shower bring May flowers).

*A new book and chair to relax with outside.

*SMILE, all day, every day.

If you have been considering Invisalign treatment, either for yourself or for your teenager, I recommend using the Invisalign Smile Assessment to see if Invisalign can help you! Of course, you need to see an orthodontist for a consultation for Invisalign, and when you do, make sure to use the Invisalign Dr Locator to find qualified orthodontist.
