Italian Shrimp Pasta Recipe

Italian Shrimp Pasta Recipe is as easy as tossing together shrimp, Italian dressing and pasta!

My husband has always been able to whip together a quick, easy, and fabulous meal with very little forethought. This recipe came about by him boiling some pasta, and sauteing some shrimp with olive oil and a fabulous Italian salad dressing.

Throw some fresh herbs on top and you are done. Just imagine how easy it is to add more nutrients by tossing in some sugar snap pea, carrot strips etc. Go for it!

Italian Shrimp Pasta Recipe (Yield = 4 servings)
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. dry pasta, cooked per manufacturer’s instructions
1/2 lb. 31-40 uncooked shrimp
2-3 teaspoons olive oil
1/4 cup Italian dressing
A handful fresh herbs

Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta.

2. Meanwhile, in a large saute pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and saute for about a minute while continuously moving the shrimp around the pan.

3. Pour the Italian dressing over the shrimp and cook for another minute or so until the shrimp are pink.

4. Drain the pasta, and place into a large bowl. Pour the shrimp on top of the pasta, toss well, taste and season with salt and pepper if you wish. Top with fresh herbs and serve.
