Coffee Talk with Girlfriends

I had a big decision to make and you know what that means – coffee talk with the girls! I was home on the Friday before Labor Day and bribed five friends over for coffee and nibbles. Who could resist that?

I decided to serve the House Blend by Millstone since it is a well-balanced medium roast coffee with a smooth finish. I served it with some mini-muffins, scones, cheese, crackers and fruit. Here are some other coffee-entertaining tips to consider:

* Coffee is not just for dessert or to wake yourself up for the daily grind (get it?), but coffee is a great for communication too.

* Coffee is like wine when it comes to nibbles: it pairs well with cheese & crackers as well as fruit.

* Always have decaffeinated coffee on hand as well in case one of your friends needs a caffeine break.

If you are interested in trying some of the Millstone premium coffees, they are in stores now and besides the House Blend, they offer light and dark roasts. And, if you missed what I made with the dark roast, let me just say ‘Iced Coffee Granita’.

Disclosure: I was compensated for my time but opinions and statements are my own.
