Cool Crops Ultimate Scrapbooking Girls Weekend

Scrapbook weekend was an amazing girls weekend full of crafting and laughs.

My friend, Kim #2, has been inviting me for years to come with her to a scrapbooking weekend. Believe it or not, I used to scrapbook but once our daughter began to crawl and then cruise, I packed up my supplies, and they sat untouched for many years.

After a few glasses of wine one night, I told her that I was jumping back in to scrapping and going to a Cool Crops Ultimate Scrapbooking weekend. As part of the registration, you get a 6-foot table, some meals, a class and tons of fun.

I felt overwhelmed after walking into a large conference room filled with people that had so many scrapbooking supplies, they used wagons to bring in their supplies. I came in with one roller bag so I spread my sparse supplies all about the 6 foot table as wide as I could. Luckily, my friend Kim had enough supplies to make me look on the cutting edge of all things scrapping.

Included in the registration fee, were a scrapping class. You were given a kit and instructions to make some pages. I was thrilled to have a winter themed kit since I was already focused on scrapping Christmas.

To add to the fun, and for more raffle tickets, we took part in the slumber party challenge and doned our PJ’s, slippers and an eye-mask (or pigtails in Kim’s case).
