On My Nightstand: The Fringe Hours & Flesh and Blood

This past two weeks, not only have the children been off from school, but I have had a few days off as well. In addition, the round of illnesses have been going through our house, as with many, so there have been some quiet days.

During the quiet times, I have been taking advantage of one of my favorite pastimes: reading.

I normally only find a few minutes to read at bedtime, and depending on how well the book captures me, I will often miss a few hours of sleep in order to get in some more time reading.

Speaking of ‘finding time’, the book ‘The Fringe Hours: Making Time for You’ covers the topic of finding time for oneself. I will let you know my thoughts on the book, once I finish reading it.

The other book, I have been reading, is ‘Fresh and Blood’ by Patricia Cornwell. I have been a long time fan of the Scarpetta series, and for the second year in a row, my friend ‘Kim #2’ has gifted me the latest for my Birthday.

What are you reading?
