Cruciferous Quinoa Avocado Salad Recipe

Cruciferous Quinoa Avocado Salad Recipe is a healthy and easy to make meal.

Tweens are an odd bunch aren’t they?

Stuck between a youngster wanting to cuddle with mama, and a raging ball of teenage angst, that thinks your e.v.e.r.y. move is embarrassing and unnecessary?

They also talk funny.

Speaking of funny, cruciferous is a funny word.

I picked up a bag of cruciferous salad at Trader Joes’ and decided to make more of it.

How you ask? Let me demonstrate.

Ingredients:
2 cups of cruciferous salad from Trader Joe’s (shredded cabbage, kale, brussels sprouts)
2 cups cooked quinoa
1 cup carrot shavings
1 avocado, chopped
1-2 Tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions:
1. Cook quinoa according to package directions, and then set aside to cool.

2.Combine all ingredients in a bowl, top with your favorite dressing. I recommend fresh lemon juice and your favorite oil
