Thanksgiving 2018I am writing from the hospital, where I am in the third week of treatment. Yes, it can be a downer to here over Thanksgiving, alas, this is my current situation, and so I doing my best to stay positive and keep busy.

Even though I couldn’t be home for Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving came to me!

A friend catered most of the necessities for our meal, but my husband added some of his favorites too.The kids, my husband, and his parents had an early meal at out home.

Then they arrived in the early afternoon, their arms filled with a robust plate for me to stuff my tummy, lots of hugs, and we had a giant cookie that a friend brought by a couple days earlier.

I am so grateful for all I have during this challenging period.
