Guess who was on Television last week? Yup, I did a taped segment with WPRI.com. As I have already shared, I feel that my purpose, or mission if you will, during this relapse and stem cell transplant, is to raise awareness of the stem cell/bone marrow registry awareness.
Not only do I want to raise registry awareness in order to get people to register, but I think it is important for people to be aware of the donation process if they are ever called to donate.
Although much of the details were edited out, I ask that you watch the segment and then go to bethematch.org, read the section on ‘Transplant Basics‘ and consider registering. Also keep your eyes peeled for our rescue cat, named Cheddar (I have spoken of him before), as he steals the show by video bombing me.
