The Luckiest People in the World

Today is a special day as my husband was born 41 years ago. I have been thinking all morning about how to make it special: I thought about while I took the kids to school, pondered during Pilates and while working this morning (over some oatmeal).

All this man wants is to spend time with us. When I ask him what he would like me to get him for his birthday, he never can think of anything material. He gets most excited about whatever will excite the kids and by simply spending time with them.  So, they are playing in the yard right now and asked to go to eat dinner at a Hibachi table tonight. He said yes, that is exactly what he wants to do for his birthday: to see their faces watch in wonderment.
